I saw this link on Eliot's blog and had to share it with you! Check this out for outragious signs, including "Do not read this sign under penalty of law" and a bottle that contains "Dehydrated Water."

Husker update: Bill Callahan was fired yesterday! And there was much rejoicing in the state of Nebraska...

Sooner or later I will learn not to promise future posts because when I sit down to blog the next time, I usually have different ideas. Nevertheless, I'll comment on each of the posts that were "swimming around in my head" from the last post.

On the changes in the Husker athletic department...I'm so thankful that Tom Osborne has been hired as Athletic Director to straighten out our football program! No, it probably won't be an immediate change, but things will start moving in the right direction for a change. Yes, we'll have to pay Callahan $3 million to buyout his contract when we fire him (he'll get nothing if he resigns), but I'm willing to contribute to that to get a new coaching staff! (Actually I am contributing to it through my Husker license plates) Osborne is meeting with the coach and his staff this weekend to decide Callahan's fate. I'm anxiously awaiting the news that Callahan will be gone!

My trip to Oklahoma last month was wonderful! There were many great conversations with a variety of people. I even helped Mrs Casselberry and her crew serve the food at a wedding. I can't say I expected that to be fun, but it definitely was! I can't wait to go back this week for Thanksgiving!

The reunion in Texas was amazing! Yes, we drove 30 hours to be there 36.5, but it was still well worth it! I somehow managed to spend time with all of the people I was hoping to, even those outside of the reunion group. I am truly blessed to have so many wonderful friends!

God has been blessing me so much lately! I feel like I'm trying to drink from a fire hose! He has wowed me in so many areas, from timely encouraging phone calls to finances, from amazing things He's doing in my church to blessing things at work.

I'm tired of having student loans hanging over me (and I need to continue feeding my snowboarding addiction), so I decided to get a second job working at the Cabela's call center during evenings and weekends. They treat their employees really well with pay and benefits and they're open 24/7 (except for Christmas day). So it's been a really great fit for me!
